Object Description
Oval wooden wall hanging with gold trim and matching gold chain for hanging.  The chain is broken on the left side. The wooden oval is wider than it is tall, and has a slightly smaller oval tin or silver metallic plate fastened to it with 4 rivets; one on the top, one on the bottom, one on the left, last one on the right.  It is centered so that there is about an inch of wood showing around the perimeter. There are three figures depicted in relief on the plate; a bust of Athena in her helmet on the left, the Parthenon in the center, and an Evzone blowing a trumpet on the right.  All of these figures are metallic gold or brass in color and show up well against the oval tin plate they are mounted on.
