White poster with grayscale photo of the 1978 Chicago Olympics Soccer Club. On the top a tag line stating "Bridging into the new millennium!", and on the bottom a box naming players Nick Gouskas, Tony Dallas, and Horatio Krispoulis. Other identified players as follows: Gouskos (Captain), T. Dallas, S. Mastronikolas, M. Papazogloy, J. Terzis, J. Marigovich, Dick B. Katerouliotis Benitez, Aslanidis Oracio Cristopouli. "ISSA" logo in top left hand corner; entire poster is laminated.
Origin
The 1978 Chicago Olympics Soccer Club was a part of an organization called "Illinois State Soccer Association" (ISSA). The ISSA was founded in 1916 and is the primary soccer organization in the state of Illinois. It's purpose is to provide for adults development, promotion, supervision, and administration of amateur soccer. The ISSA includes 27 leagues, and allows adults to play soccer competitively or recreationally indoors or outdoors, coach, and referree. The team captain, Nick Gouskas, is in the ISSA's Hall of Fame under the Meritorious Service Award category.
