Object Description
A 100 year old blanket made by the donors mother. It is a green, yellow, a maroon, and a light red with yellow plaid blanket. On the two ends it is a small green border that is made of a group of stichings in small circles along the edge. There is a seam along the middle where the two pieces were put together.
Origin
Georgia Farlekas was born in Sparta, Greece and came to the US when she was three years old. The blanket was made by her mother-in-law, Katherine, 100 years ago in Greece. It was given to Georgia when she married the son of the creator 58 years ago.
