There is just a black background with five women in a row from one side of the print to the other. The women look to be hunching over and they are wearing head pieces. The artist uses lines as designs in the print.

Hambis Tsangaris, now a legandary printmaker, was born in a village of Kontea in 1947. His father was a farmer and while Hambis was working on the fields he started making sketches and prints. Hambis started to get his inspiration from the politics and war going on around him. One of his earlier works was about the Greece takeover in 1967, where he then met a Greek printmaker who got him involved in more print making. After that Hambis when to Surikov Institute of Moscow to study graphic art. Once he graduated he returned home to a divided country and he continued to make art involving the politics. Hambis is also well known for his story telling. In 2008 Hambis decided he wanted to open a national print making centre and museum. He and his wife, Helen, now manage the museum and school and he leaves the political talk to others now.
The Women Walk Home movement is one that Hambis depicts in some of his art. It is a non-party political initiative by a group of Greek Cypriot women. They want to reunify the divided island republic of Cyprus. In 1974 Turkey invaded Cyprus causing segragation between the Greek and Turkish Cyrpriot communities. The Women Walk Home group peacefully resists the division of Cyprus.
