Object Description
Silver metal necklace or vest clasp. Center section with eight coiled tubes, and three circles with attached linked chains with teardrop shaped pendants, each with hammered designs. "Chain" of small circles and two beads on each section. Threaded on filament wire. One red bead at top right.
Origin
Donated by Suzanne Salimbene. The necklace was most likely handmade in Greece, and was a part of a Sarakatsani costume. Suzanne probably acquired the necklance while she lived in Greece, circa 1965-1982.
