Object Description
Metal pin with two peacocks(?) with heads turned to center. Three section of hangind coins. Center section has floral influence. Side sections have 5 hammered dots. Two prongs on reverse for attaching to garment. Used to close vest?
Origin
Donated by Suzanne Salimbene. The pin was handmade in Greece, and was most likely part of a Sarakatsani costume. Suzanne got the pin while living in Greece circa 1965-1982.
