Medal of Appreciation. Blue and white fabric with gold letter. Metal medal reads " Spartan Society, Chicago, ILL, 1937, side profile of male figure, Lycurgos" "Presented by the Spartan Society to the Greek Pioneers of Chicago as a token of appreciation May 4, 1938"
Origin
Donated by Daisy Farmakis on the behalf of the estate of Costas and Meta (Parzakonis) Govostis. The medal was awarded to Costas Govostis on May 4th, 1988 for being a Greek pioneer of Chicago.
