Medal inscribed with " Third Pan American Games, Chicago, 1959". There is a picture of North and South America with a star where Chicago is. The writing is above and below the continents. On the back of the medal coin there is olive leaves with an olympic torch. Above the torch it says 3rd, Bantam, Boxing.

Donated by Peter Spanakos. The medal was awarded to Peter during his time competing in the Pan American Games held in Chicago in 1959. Peter placed 3rd in Bantam boxing.
