Object Description
Greek Democracy bond. 1A' 089398. With 7 attached coupons (1940-1946) Greek Language.  It is rectangular.  The coupons are also rectangular, but much smaller. 
The front:  The front side of the Bond is framed by classical Greek columns holding up an ancient marble cornice and a thin decorative border that runs around all four sides.  The entire design is printed in shades of blue.  The middle of the bond is a salmon color and has the terms of the Bond written in black Grecian font. The coupons all have the thin decorative border around salmon colored body and the same font. 
The back:  The back of the Bond white, the design and font are all printed in blue.  There is a blue decorative border on all four sides.  Columns and groups of numbers are separated in the center by a large depiction of a statue of a young man wearing nothing but a modest sprig of grape leaves and a crown or ornamental helmet.  He is flanked by an ancient column on each side.
