From St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church in Palatine, IL. St. Nectarios was first established in 1974, and in 1976 the church building opened. In 1983, a new church building was built to accomodate the growth of the church. A community center was later built in the 1980s. Throughout the years, St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox expanded its services to include Sunday school, Greek school, and other programs.
