Object Description
An ecru square pillow cover. The sham is designed with a floral cutwork motif pattern in roles of tiny holes with white thread running through them. The back has a flap over the opening so as to completely inclose the pillow.
Origin
A collection of textiles belonging to Vasilios and Alexandra (Muyias) Dervisis. Donated by George W. Dervis. These pillow shams were a gift to the Dervisis' for their wedding, circa 1924.
