Object Description
An ecru pillow sham cover. The sham is designed with a floral cutwork motif pattern in rows of tiny holes. Each hole has white thread running through. The back has a flap over the opening so as to completely inclose a pillow.
Origin
A collection of textiles belonging to Vasilios and Alexandra (Muyias) Dervisis. Donated by George W. Dervis. These pillow shams were a gift to the Dervisis' for their wedding, circa 1924.
