Object Description
A needlwork piece bordered in light brown velvet. Within that, colorful flower vines are embroidered into a rough brown background. The picture in the middle displays four men (one obscured) walking over a bridge. Each man is dress in vibrant, dated clothing and carrying an object- possibly instruments. In the back of the picture there is a large colorful tree and a lanscape of green grass behind blue water. The back is water stained.
Origin
Handmade in 1921 in Leonidion, Greece, by Maria Teveklis for her sister, Marina Georgian's wedding. Donated by Helen Georgian Busch, Marina's daughter.
