Sultan-Most likely the same as a Pasha or Bey. The Pashas were high ranking Turkish authorities and the Beys were rich merchants. They are comfortably rich and have many worries as part of the aristocracy.

Thianda Manzara (daughter) donated the puppets and accessories from the estate of Demetra Louvrie (1931-2001). Louvrie studied with her great-uncle John Katses (Halsted Street cafe performer),l George Kefalopoulos (radio host), and Frixos Gazepidis. Louvrie taught and presented shows of Karaghiozi puppeteering throughout Illinois.
