Object Description
Slightly rectangular woven bag with multi-colored zigzag pattern that forms diamonds in the middle. The colors used are red, yellow, blue, maroon, orange, purple, and green on a white background.. Heavy fraying and snagging on the bag's inside. There was perhaps a handle that was once attached, but is now missing. The handle could have been attached through holes on either side. The bag was made out of one piece of cloth that was folded in half, which is why there is thick red stitching on either side of the bag.
Origin
Tagaris could be used for gathering substances such as olives or as purses. They could have also been used as a part of a woman's dowry.
