Off-white table runner with floral design. This table runner has a rectangular shape with tassles on the two ends. At either end, there are identical, embroidered floral designs. The design consists of four flowers surrounded by vine-like green scrolls. The two outer flowers have gold petals with pink dots in the central. There are three flowers toward the center of these end-designs--two of which have orange petals while the other has pink petals. Throughout the fabric, there are gold stripes, ranging in thickness.
This table runner was created in Myteline, Greece by Anastasia "Mina" Tiftinksis. It can be used as a home accesory to decorate a dining table. It is unknown how or when the textile made its way to the US, nor is it known how the donor acquired it from Mina Tiftinksis.
