Object Description
Square, off-white doily. Crocheted lace. There is a central circle, and the design branches off from there with leaf-like shapes radiating from the center. Thin and delicate cotton thread. On either side, there is some discoloration and staining.
Origin
This crocheted doily was handmade in Greece. Several other textiles found in this accession were created by Anastasia "Mina" Tiftiksis, and while she could possibly be the creator, it cannot be definitely assumed.

Doilies are mostly used as accessories for home decor. They can decorate tables, trays, or even be framed and hung.
