Crocheted, off-white, circular doily. In the center, there is a six-pointed star. Radiating from the center are various tear drop shapes. The doily has a scalloped border. On either side, there are small rust-colored stains.
This crocheted doily was handmade by Mina Tiftiksis in Myteline, Greece. It is unknown how or when the donor acquired this textile.
Doilies are mostly used as accessories for home decor. They can decorate tables, trays, or even be framed and hung.
