Object Description
Cream color. Rectangular fabric with four embroidered brown flowers. Unfinished. Gold and black thread outlines the entire design. The flowers each have four petals and three leaves. Off of the main flowers, there are two smaller flowers with eight petals.
Origin
In the early days, embriodery was used to convey wealth and status, as well as acting as a part of a girl's path to womanhood. It is also considered a folk art.
