Object Description
Metal milk jug, which is silver in color. It has a handle going from the neck of the jug to the base. Along the top of the base, it is labelled "Mid City Dairy - CHGO." The bottom of the jug has a lip. The jug has many scratches. On the back, by the handle, "2-GAL CS" is engraved, and under that, there is an "AR."
Origin
This milk jug was used by Mid-City Dairy. Mid-City Dairy is a Chicago business that sells milk and ice cream. Mid-City Dairy is located in Humboldt Park. This jug would hold two gallons of milk. Milk jugs were used to store and deliver milk.
