Object Description
This is a piece of artwork that is comprised of three hinged, wooden panels that open to reveal an alternate image. The outside image is a headless female figure dressed in a white t-shirt with the Chicago flag on the front and a blue, knee-length skirt. The figure is placing the left hand on the heart. The interior image is the same headless female figure dressed only in a white bra and underwear. The left hand is held to the center of the chest at the open incision/scar.
Origin
Artist endured open heart surgery as a child.
