Object Description
Half of a crocheted collar to a costume. Off-white circular work forming two joined triangle shapes. The circles are hollow in the middle, and are more compressed in the middle of the collar where the two triangles join and wider in the middle of the triangles. the edges of the collar are somewhat twisted under. There is a thin line of thread along the bottom of the collar. The triangle shapes are cut off on either end, letting the edges of the collar end in an edge rather than a point.
Origin
The donor states: My father when he met my mother he immediately believed that she was to be his wife. He had two gold coins, which he had melted down and turned into wedding rings. He had his name put inside her ring and her name put inside of his ring. Her father arrived in 1912, and her mother arrived in 1914, when they got married.
