Part of a U.S. WWII Marine uniform / tunic.

Belted, Marine green long-sleeved jacket with notched lapels. There is a shoulder strap on each shoulder, with two star-shaped pins on each one.  The jacket is single-breasted and secured with four buttons running down the front.  There is one patch pocket with flap on each breast and one on each hip.  Each of the pockets is secured by a smaller version of the larger buttons running down the front. A belt made of the same fabric and color as the jacket wraps around the waist and is secured with a metal slide buckle.

The bottom hem lays well below the hips, to about thigh length.
