Ecru dust cap with scalloped blue trim. This crocheted cap is handmade with ecru thread giving it a lacy appearance. A tatting ecru flower resembles a large daisy and is overlay on top of the hat. The flower covers most of the cap except for the bottom inch or two. Its petals are edged in blue crocheted thread and it is topped with a blue button-like crocheted center. The cap is finished with scalloped baby blue crochet edge.
Donated by Dorothy Kotsakis. The cap was handmade and worn by Pelagia Harris (nee Christodolou). Pelagia wore the cap while doing house chores to protect her hair.
