Dome shaped red fez. This unlined fez is constructed of plain red wool and has a thick black tassel attached to the very top.  The letters "BY" are stitched by hand on the inside of the fez at the top where the tassel attaches.

Donated by Christina Slavens. Whom wore the fez and when it was worn is unknown. The fez was most likely part of a child's costume that would have been worn to traditional/folk greek functions.
