Object Description
A collage of textiles enclosed in a wooden framed glass case. There are four different fabrics. The upper right textile is from Eastern Thrace and is red with a floral embellishment in the center. The background textile is mostly white with a colorful bottom border from Attica and Thrace Greece. The left textile is comprised of two different kinds of fabrics, one of blue and green floral design attached to a black bottom section from Sarakatsani Sleeve. Lastly, the upper right fabric is black with red embellishment from Karagouna Thessaly. Each textile is accompanied by a small label indicating its origins. At the bottom of the collage is a small label that says, "Donated by The Greek American Folklore Society Paul Ginis Collection." There is a hanging wire attached to the back of the frame.
