Object Description
Black braul cape with large collar. The outside of the cape is wool with a waffel like texture. The cape is lined with material. There are no arm holes. There is a single black silk tie at the neck and 3 hidden hooks.
Origin
Donated by Estelle Strempek (Pappas). The cape is a semi-tailored cape/cloak. It has the typical design of the semi tailored cape that were popular in the late 1920's to early 1930's. Estelle was born in 1925 so this was most likely her mother (Bess Pappas) cape she wore on evenings out.
