Object Description
Caramel brown leather suitcase, duffel shaped, with 2 leather straps, leather handle and metal clasp. Visibly worn on handle and edges of leather straps.  Scratch marks on the sides.
Origin
Constantine Balamas came from Stefani, Cornith to the USA in 1906 on the Star Shipline. He operated a coffee shop in the Liberty Hotel in downtown Kansas City next door to President Harry Truman's haberdashery. He met Mr. Truman and they became friends and together attended Kansas City University in the evenings.
