Object Description
Woven bag with yellow, green, orange, white and black striped pattern. Fringe at bottom, white edging and shoulder strap. The bag is mostly yellow, with black as the base color for the weave. There are two stripes that are green in the middle with four orange dots that form a diamond, as well as orange stripes on either side of the green stripes. In the middle, there is a black stripe with a Greek Key design on it in white. This has a white stripe to either side, witha an orange stripe outside of that. The bottom has a yellow fringe with some green, and a white and black fringe in the middle. The inside of the bag is lined with green fabric.
Origin
Tagaris are traditional bags that are usually made of a single piece of woven material, which is then folded and sewn together. They can be used as purses.
