Object Description
A metal tray. The tray is very deep and has a rounded bottom. The bottom of the tray as a large dent at either end. The tray has a wide rim with straight edges and sharp corners. There is an extra piece running the long of each of the two long edges. These pieces are shaped at a right angle, so that the up and outward, making a second rim along those two sides. There is a handle attached to the top of the rim at each of the two short ends. Due to the dents, the metal that makes up the bottom has become partially detached from the sides.
Origin
This tray was likely used in the food services industry, possible at a bakery or candy store. the rounded bottom and handles suggest that this tray was probably inserted into something else, possible a steam table or similar device.
