Object Description

Origin
Donated by Tina Fourtris. A handmade flokati rug.

Flokati rugs originated in the Central, Eastern and Southeastern part of Europe. They were always handmade by weaving wool and then put in the river to fluff them up. They were often made in the mountains of Greece.
