Burlap tote bag embroidered in blue, green, and dark red wool. The bag is edged in green. The bag consists of a repeated design of a square with lines going out from its sides in four directions. This design repeats diagonally across the bag. The diagonal lines mostly alternate between red and blue, except in a few places. On one side, there are two red lines in a row, followed by a blue, then four red lines, then another blue, and then two more red lines at the corner of the bag. The other side is more faded and appears to be unfinished. It has two blue lines in a row in the middle. the shoulder strap is made of red and green threads rolled together and is attached to green loops on either side of the bag.

Bags such as this could have been used as purses or to carry goods.
