Object Description
White cotton sleevless nightgown. The neck and chest are embroidered with an eyelet lace design. Around the neck and sleeves there is embroidered lace in a wavy design. The fabric of the nightgown is machine made, but the embroidery is hand done.
Origin
Donated by Estelle Strempek. Most likely worn during the summer months by her mother Bess Pappas in Greece, cira 1910.
