Object Description
Square ecru lace shawl or veil.  The body of the veil is ecru, sheer and without a distinctive pattern, but is embellished with a band of intricate lace flowers on 2 contiguous sides.  The other two sides are trimmed much more simply with no flowers, just a simple edging.   Used as part of wedding ensemble.
Origin
The dress was worn by Theodora Glaras on August 19, 1919 at the assumption church, Chicago Heights.
