Beige cotton handwoven table runner (dresser scarf) with satin stitch embroidery of vines with pink, gold, purple, and blue flowers. There is a blue fringe on the short of the ends of the cloth. They are made of thread and are tied together to form triangles with small tassels on the end, and the thread in the middle is also woven together with a tassel on the end. At the short ends, there is the design with vines and flowers. The vines and leaves are multiple shades of green. On each end, there is a flower with an orange, a purple, and a blue petal. On one side, the inward facing flowers are pink, purple and red while the outward facing flowers are yellow, orange, and blue. On the other side, this is reversed. The fabric itself has a design with squared and rectangles.

Anthusa Pappadakis was the aunt of the donor. Anthusa and her sister, Marusa never married and lived to over 100 years of age. A chapel in their honor has been placed at the monestary by the village people of Roustika, Rethimnon,Crete, Greece. She died September 1991 They stayed with their parents and cared for them. Their parents were Basilion Pappadakis and Penelope Pappadakis.
