Object Description
Lady's black pill box hat with ruffles. Two black-headed hat pins inside hat. The inside of the hat is black mesh, and there is a "22" label, declaring the size. It has a somewhat dirty black band. Black stitches can be seen where they hold the folds of the cloth together in ruffles. The black cloth of the ruffles is see through.
Origin
Donated by Bill J. Vranas. The hat was handmade by Helen Stamas Mitchell. Peggy Vranas' mother, between the 1950's to the 1970's.
