Object Description
Lady's black velvet pill box hat with pleats around crown and a "bow" design in front with two sparkling tear drop beads. Inside there is the label for "Aurore" hats from france as well as a 221/2 measurement and two velevet topped hat pins stuck into the ribbon lining.
Origin
Donated by Bill J. Vranas. Handemade in France and owned by Helen Stamas Mitchell, mother of Peggy Vranas, between the 1950's and 1970's.
