Object Description
Round beige linen placemat embroidered with tan thread. Cutwork in the shape of flowers. There are four flowers on the placemat, and they are located across from each other. There is a leaf on either side of the flowers, and these leaves touch the leaves of the nieghboring flower. In between the flower and the leaf, as well as between the two leaves, there is cutwork with thread crossing over it in order to form a gridlike pattern. The flowers have three elaves and a bud in the middle.
Origin
Erasmia Economou married Constantine Theodoropoulos on October 24, 1926 at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Chicago.
