Object Description
White placemat with cutwork around the edges. There are flowers in each corner like those of 2002.43.4.3.B. These flowers have five petals and seven circles in the middle. There is one leaf on each side, which touches with the leaves of the middle flowers. There is also a thin strip of cloth that connects the flowers to the corner, like a stem. There is a thin border of cloth around the entire mat. In the middle of the long edges, there is another flower. This flower has four petals and seven circles in the middle. Its two side leaves touch those of the corner flowers beside it. All of the flowers have two arches above them. The thread is a tannish color.
Origin
Erasmia Economou married Constantine Theodoropoulos on October 24, 1926 at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Chicago.
