A handmade red flokati woven from wool. The backing is red like the fluff which is flatened and frayed. There is one clump of white string tied to a corner of the rug. Stained in some places.

Flokati rugs originiated in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe. They are first handmade from wool and then set in a river so they can be fluffed. They are often made in the mountains of Greece.
