Object Description
Square off-white tablecloth. Embroidered square design in center with four large flowers in corners and smaller flowers decorating square shape. The large flowers are decorated with white thread on the inside. Embroidered with grey thread. Smaller embroidered pattern on edges and corners, stripes dots and squares in corners. There is small cutwork around the outer edge and some of the inside.
Origin
This tablecloth was a gift from Greece.

The donor states: My father when he met my mother he immediately believed that she was to be his wife. He had two gold coins, which he had melted down and turned into wedding rings. He had his name put inside her ring and her name put inside of his ring. Her father arrived in 1912, and her mother arrived in 1914, when they got married.
