Object Description
Square doily, eggshell white in color with fringe along the outside edge. The doily is composed out of the hairpin technique  and has a starburst design, with threads radiating from the centers of small circles, where the edge of one circle intersects with the circle next to it. In between the circles, there are smaller starburst designs.
Origin
The hairpin technique is used to make lace and consists of a U shaped "hairpin" loom and a crochet hook. It is usually used to create a lightweight fabric.
