Object Description
Composed of Interlocking crocheted circular designs. It is beige and rectangular in shape. This doily is larger than the other ones, and there is a small rectangle (2 circles by 7 circles) on one end that sticks out. The design is composed of thick circles in the middle with a lighter circle around the outside that is then attached to the circle next to it. The rectangle has 16 rows of circles and 37 columns of circles.
Origin
Doilies are used to protect surfaces or as decoration. They are characterized by their openwork design, which allows the surface below them to show through.
