Object Description
Rectangular doily with repetitive patterns of geometric design. There are 24 open designs. It is light brown in color. There are two alternating designs, both in the shape of diamonds. One design is a grid-like design while the other is a starburst design.
Origin
Doilies are used for decoration or for protecting furniture. They are characterized by their openwork, which lets one see the surface below them.
