Object Description
Diamond shape cream doily. It has six-pointed pinwheel designs interlocked together to create a repetitive pattern. The pinwheels on the ends are much smaller than the ones in the middle.
Origin
Doilies are used for decoration or for protecting furniture. They are characterized by their openwork, which lets one see the surface below them.
