Object Description
Silk handkerchief with a peach hem. It has green, peach and lavender stripes on white silk. There are three thick green stripes together going vertically, with a lighter lavender stripe, and three lighter green stripes with a light peach stripe going horizontally. Pink monogram in corner within a heart. The monogram has letters in it.
Origin
This handkerchief belonged to Theodore J. Georgas, father of Elaine Georges Godellas, who came to America in 1909. It is unknown whether the handkerchief is American or Greek.
