Beige table runner with beige fringe, embroidered decoration of leaves and botanical shapes in dark blue, light blue, gold and pea green. Towards the middle, there are four leaves facing toward the center, in alternating shades of light blue and dark blue. They have golden thread down the middle and as a stem. On either end, there are three branches of leaves on a vine. The vine also has green bulbs on it. The outside branches have four leaves, with dark blue leaves on the bottom and light blue leaves at the top. The middle branch has five leaves, and has dark blue leaves at the bottom, followed bu two light blue leaves, with a dark blue leaf on top. The vines are green. There is a border outside of this leaf pattern, and it consists of dark blue and light blue flowers with green stems.
Embroidery was originally used to reinforce seams and could be seen as a part of a girl's transition into womanhood.
