Object Description
White pillowcase with floral cutwork at the opening and crocheted triangular edging. The cutwork has shapes that look like three C's to either side of the middle design, which is shaped like a basket with a handle and a flower in the middle. The edging is in a checkered pattern, and is located at the low points in the zigzag design at the top of the fabric.
Origin
A Trousseau is similar to a dowry or a prika in that it is a collection of linens given to the bride for her new home.
