Object Description
A man and woman standing in front of a cafe. On the cafe window reads 'cigars' in the center and 'always open' on the side. Underneath the window advertises that it is a restaurant and on the side next to the man it reads 'quick service' under the window. There are two newspapers propped up in the window. The man is dressed in a chef's uniform, it is possible the two in the photo own the cafe. There is snow on the ground, and the store front next door has a sign that reads 'L.C. Ha- Law Offices' On the back a stamp reads 'Insist On (Velvet-Sheen Finish) The Star Studio Bloomington, Ill. Therefore, it is likely the photo was taken in Bloomington, Ill. There are multiple scratches on the bottom and edges of the postcard, and a red spot in the bottom right of the photo. The left corner of the postcard is folded.
