Object Description
Color photograph of two women in white dresses. The one on the left has white hair and is holding a plaque under her chin. The one on the right has brown hair and is handing her a bouquet of red roses with a white ribbon. There are two men in grey suits with white shirts and red ties off to the side, and there are yellow curtains in the background.

Georgia Mitchell receives red roses from GACS Administrator Dr. Elaine Thomopoulos while receiving the Greek-American Community Services (GACS) Heritage Award and John Psiharis, GACS executive director and John Rassogianis, GACS board vice president look on. Held on September 22, 1989 at Diplomat Banquets in Chicago.
